When you arrive at the The Boathouse, you will immediately see the stunning Nottinghamshire country side and start to feel relaxed and creative.
During the workshop, we will be looking at the dramatic textures, colours and forms, expressed through natural materials - flowers, foliage, berries, in celebrating the new Season, Summer.
We will also, discover how to create a collection of designs, using reusable sundries e.g. chicken wire, and natural materials e.g. twigs. To form a structure to hold all the flowers and foliage in place - No Foam here.
Using Seasonal flowers to add the focus of rich, opulent colour to each design, you will be working on different ways of making a foundation to hold and support the flowers and foliage.
This Masterclasses is suitable for florists and creatives, this may be just what you're looking for to build your portfolio, restyle yourself, gain inspiration, improve your techniques, master a design style or want to keep learning something new.
And you will get to meet likeminded florists and flowery people, where you can share experiences too.
You will be required to bring your general floristry kit. And a range of vases and containers. This list will be sent to you once you have booked.
